Mark Wahlberg Won’t Sell Baby Pics
Mark Wahlberg won’t be joining the ranks of celebrity moms and dads who sell out their infants on magazine covers when they’re only a few weeks old.
Mark and his girlfriend Rhea are expecting their third child in September, and he’s made it clear he wants to keep all the details private, and won’t even entertain any offers for a photo shoot.
He says, “There will be no selling of our baby pictures, no hoopla, nothing like that.”
We have to respect the fact that he wants privacy for his family, and we’re sure his wife appreciates it too. It’s not like these celebrities are hurting for money. Plus we feel like the public is a little tired of seeing a new baby on the covers every other week!

Pop Tarts: Mila Kunis Makes Mark Wahlberg Cry
After passing the SWAT test in preparation for her upcoming flick “Max Payne,” the real-life girlfriend of Macaulay Culkin used her gun skills against co-star Mark Wahlberg.
“I can shoot pretty well,” Kunis told Pop Tarts at last week’s Comic-Con convention San Diego. “I got to beat Mark up with my little gun, which was fun — he cried a little bit. I’m sure I saw a few tears.”
Wahlberg didn’t issue a denial, jokingly telling us later that Kunis “isn’t as nice as you would think; she likes to beat up on people.”
But it seems Wahlberg may have taken a bit of a dig at the likes of Brangelina, Jessica Alba and Matthew McConaughey, who all earned big bucks for shopping around snaps of their newborns (Brangie sells the pics for charity). (Read full story …)

Mark Wahlberg and Peter Berg (”Hancock”) have been attached to star in and direct, respectively, the story of Jon Roberts, an injured Vietnam vet by age 20 who ended up involved in gangland takeovers of New York City nightclubs in the early ’70s (his uncle was the consigliere to Carlo Gambino). By the end of the decade, Roberts landed in Miami, dealt billions of dollars worth of coke for the Medellin drug cartel and ultimately spent 10 years in prison. (Read full story …)

Mark Wahlberg On ‘Departed’ Sequel
Last year, Mark Wahlberg let slip to MTV News that the talent behind “The Departed” (namely director Martin Scorsese and screenwriter William Monahan, both Oscar winners for the film) were hard at work on both a sequel AND a prequel to the crime drama about corruption in the Boston police department.
“We may do another one, because it’s based on a Hong Kong film ['Infernal Affairs'], and there is a trilogy. So we may do a sequel with a new cast, and a prequel and bring back the rest of the guys,” he said. In fact, Wahlberg even talked of a substantial role for Scorsese favorite Robert De Niro.
So, Qui Bono? It’s now more than a year later. Where does the project stand? (Read full story …)

Wahlberg sued in N.Y. by former bodyguard
Mark Wahlberg’s former bodyguard is suing the actor for $20,000 in back pay in Manhattan Civil Court, court documents reveal.
