The original movie, directed by John Singleton, revolved around four adopted brothers (Wahlberg, Tyrese Gibson, Andre Benjamin and Garret Hedlund) who come together to avenge their mother’s death in what at first appears to be a random robbery. Although not a massive hit, it still grossed a tidy $74 million at the domestic box office.

Plot details are being kept under wraps, and it is not clear which of the other actors, if any, would return. Hedlund would appear to be out, as his character was killed in the first movie. Wahlberg stars in Peter Jackson’s “The Lovely Bones,” which opens nationally on Friday, and appears in the upcoming “Date Night” with Steve Carell and Tina Fey.

Asks Ellen: “And, is she saying she’s done? You want more?”

He continued: “She likes hanging out at the hospital. It was the first time we had a couple of days of peace and quiet even though she had to go through the pain of giving birth. She actually liked the fact that we were in a hotel room, alone. Well, it’s kind of like a hotel room, the hospital room. She had a TV. I could watch my TV at the same time. She didn’t really want to go home.”

To which Ellen replied, “Mark, you’re making good money. Take her on a vacation.”

The original Reykjavik-Rotterdam is Iceland’s submission for this year’s Foreign Language Oscar race and won five of that country’s film awards previously. The English version likely will be relocated to other places rather than Reykjavik, which is the capitol if Iceland, and Rotterdam, a port city on the edge of Holland. Baltasar Kormakur also has another thriller called Jar City that is already being remade over at Overture. At one point Wahlberg was attached to Guzikowski’s script Prisoners, but that project recently dropped all of its actors. We’ll keep you updated on the status of this Reykjavik-Rotterdam remake as any news comes in.

Filming for the movie “The Other Guys” is expected to generate an economic spinoff of $1.4 million, according to the Albany Convention and Visitors Bureau.

The stars of the movie, Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg and Eva Mendes, won’t be in town for the shoot. The film is an action comedy about two New York City Police detectives who try to fill the shoes of their “super-cop” predecessors.

The crew will be filming car chases, car crashes, simulated gunfire, helicopter aerobatics and other stunts. The filming wraps up Oct. 4.

Columbia Pictures personnel are working with Albany city officials and the state Department of Transportation to minimize the impact on weekday traffic. Filming won’t be done on Tuesdays while the state Legislature is in session.

A Columbia Pictures crew was in Albany in May to film stunt scenes for “Salt,” a moving starring Angelina Jolie.

Fresh on the heels of their Aug. 1 wedding, Durham was spotted on Sunday at The Grove in Los Angeles sporting quite the baby bump. Though no official announcement has been made, a source says the couple are expecting their fourth child.

Already parents to Ella Rae, who is about to turn 6, Michael, 3, and Brendan Joseph, 11 months, the couple have made no secret of their desire for a big family.

Last summer, Wahlberg – 38-year-old executive producer of HBO’s Entourage – joked that “when the kids are good, we want eight or nine.” He went on to call life in a full house “hectic … but a lot of fun.”

The actor’s rep did not respond to requests for comment.

Next up for Wahlberg is the Peter Jackson-directed feature film The Lovely Bones opposite Rachel Weisz, in theaters on Dec. 11.

Filming of The Fighter is underway in Massachusetts, and we have a super spy on the set giving us some dee-lish deets. Seems the big three (Bale, Mark Wahlberg and Amy Adams) were all on location at the retro-hip Olympia Restaurant, a frequent hang for past real-life fighters like Mickey Ward.

You remember that perfectionist Bale likes to do things as realistically as possible, right? He’s slimmed down dangerously for parts before (like The Machinist), and now the emaciated actor’s doing it again.

“[Christian] has lost almost as much weight as he did for The Machinist. He is so gaunt,” blab our eyes, standing right next to the Batman star.

Christian plays Dickie Eklund, a former crack addict, so that explains why Bale is so skeletal all of a sudden. “They have even thinned his hair—he just looks sickly.”

But Christian’s bizarre behavior doesn’t stop at his appearance…

We’re told the Method actor (who has been “getting into character” for quite some time now) goes completely AWOL between takes.

“You only see him when it’s time for his scenes,” our in-the know Bostonian tells us. “Other than that, no one has any idea where he is. He just goes missing.”

So how about the beefier—and now way sexier—costar Mark Wahlberg? We’re told he passes the time in a far more colorful, highly caloric fashion, i.e., with his good pal Patrón.

Uh-oh, is someone having marriage remorse? When the perpetual bachelor (which was much more fitting of Marky Mark, if you ask us) is already hitting the hard stuff, that can never a good sign. Is there trouble in paradise already?

Not likely. So far, Mark is nothing but the classy gentleman on the set, opting to hang with his boys rather than gawk at any townies or extras. Glad to hear it! Also, we’re told Mark’s humor is as spot-on as ever.

One of Wahlberg’s buds was at the bar with him and started cracking a joke about notorious crank-a-thon Christian Bale.

“Good thing there are no lighting guys around right now,” laughed the semi-inebriated guy during one of Christian’s mysterious breaks. Mark and his bud started cracking up, and Wahlberg and his friend go: “Dude, that was f–king funny.”

Christian, laughing, too? Doubt it.

The Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation aims to improve the quality of life for inner city youth through a working partnership with other youth organizations. The Foundation provides financial and community support to assist in making the dreams and ultimate potential of inner city youth become a reality.

According to RadarOnline.com, The Italian Job star was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital after a mishap while filming The Fighter.

“Mark was working on a scene where a smoke machine was being used for atmosphere and apparently he breathed in too much smoke,” a source said.

“When he woke up the next morning he was gasping for breath, so he was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital where he was put on a breathing device that helped clear his lungs.”

Wahlberg was released from hospital and back at work the same day.

The couple, who have three children – Ella Rae, 5, Michael, 3, and 10-month-old Brendan Joseph – were married Saturday in an intimate and romantic ceremony attended by their children and about 12 close friends and family at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Beverly Hills.

Wahlberg donned a dark suit and the bride wore a white strapless Marchesa dress with silver embroidery and a Neil Lane diamond-and-platinum cushion-cut ring complemented by a diamond bracelet and earrings. “She looked like a princess and beyond stunning. Mark looked ecstatic,” says an eyewitness shortly after the ceremony, which lasted for about 45 minutes in the church, which was decorated with candles and pink and light purple roses.

The groom-to-be, 38, spent a quiet pre-wedding moment alone at the church Friday afternoon. Wahlberg, looking happy and relaxed, sat down in the front row before returning home to his Beverly Hills home for a small gathering.

Wahlberg revealed earlier this year his plans to wed Durham, 31. “We’re talking about August,” he told PEOPLE. At the time, he had yet to decide whether he would marry in his Boston hometown. “It will be in a Catholic church somewhere.”

As for adding more children to their brood? “I’m the youngest of nine,” Wahlberg said, adding that the final count will be “however many Mom wants to have.”

While Abberton was keen on the idea when it was first floated last year, Crowe – who will co-produce the film – has insisted that it must be true to Australia.

“Why would you do that?” Crowe told UK Sky News yesterday of the Wahlberg rumour.

“That’s like asking Gary Oldman to be in Romper Stomper – it takes away from one of the important things about it.

“This is a great Australian story and it belongs to the Australian film industry … it’s all well and good to finance it from overseas because film is an international medium but we’ve got great actors in our country.”

The film – My Brother’s Keeper – is based on a book by Charles Miranda and Angela Kamper, journalists with The Daily Telegraph.

It is the story of the killing of eastern suburbs standover man and convicted rapist Anthony Hines by Abberton’s brother Jai – and the aftermath in which that saw him acquitted of murder.

Crowe helped negotiate sale rights to US film company Universal, and said the project was well advanced.

Crowe also gave the firmist indication yet that he may direct it.

He said: “We’re on our third different take on the story, probably on our second draft of our third take.

“We’re now in a place where we’re trying it a third way, and it’s a little more satisfying in terms of the punch of the overall film.”

As for his role above co-producer, Crowe said: “It may be (director) or it may end up being something that I’m interested in …

“(Something) that I shepherd for a while and hand on to someone else.

“I go kind of hot and cold with it, whether it’s something I specifically want to do.

“But it’s set up in the right way and has the right production company attached to it, who are not impatient.”
