HBO has commissioned a pilot episode of Mark Wahlberg’s comedy How To Make It In America.

The show, which is written by Ian Edelman, follows three enterprising twentysomethings who are attempting to hustle their way to the American dream, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Wahlberg, Stephen Levinson and Entourage’s Rob Weiss will produce the project.

Speaking about the concept, Levinson said: “These guys don’t want to wait for things to happen, they make them happen.

“That’s the attitude of this generation, which Ian represents very well.”

Weiss added: “This show is a fun ride through the downtown scene, examining the cross section of people and how they relate to the relevant subcultures in NYC.”
